Meet Dr. John Chin
Dr. Chin was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. After graduating from Dalhousie Dental School in Halifax, NS, in 2016, Dr. Chin began practicing dentistry in Squamish and Pemberton before moving to Campbell River in 2018.
John has a passion for dentistry and continually expands his knowledge and skills to serve his patients better. He prides himself in meeting patients’ needs and ensuring that patients are comfortable, well-informed and involved in their treatment.
Outside of work, John can usually be found spending time with his wife and two young boys. Otherwise, you may catch a glimpse of him fly-fishing, golfing, playing soccer, skiing or mountain biking the local trails.
Meet Dr. Andy Wong
Dr. Wong has been practicing dentistry since 1991, which means he has been practicing for over thirty years and in Campbell River for over twenty-five. He received his degree from the University of Manitoba, where he graduated with an award for proficiency in oral medicine. From there, he practiced several years with the Canadian Armed Forces in New Brunswick. Dr. Wong had always yearned to live on the West Coast of Canada; he began to practice in Campbell River in 1995, where he has lived ever since.
Dr. Wong spends much of his time involved with the community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the United Way and held office positions with the Kinsmen Club of Campbell River. Dr. Wong is an active supporter of kids’ sports and arts programs, as well as many local charities. Dr. Wong is a diligent practitioner who constantly strives to provide the best care for his patients.
Meet Dr. Hannah Kingwell
Dr. Kingwell was born and raised in Vancouver. She began her undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax for two years before transferring to the accelerated nursing program at The University of British Columbia. After three years of practicing as a registered nurse at BC Women’s Hospital, she pursued a career in dentistry, graduating from the University of Western Ontario, where she received an award for excellence in oral medicine. Hannah brings her experience as a registered nurse to the practice of dentistry by ensuring her patients feel relaxed and well cared for.
Hannah and her partner are excited to return to the west coast and chose Campbell River for its strong sense of community and endless outdoor opportunities. She is very much looking forward to exploring the local mountain biking trails and the ski slopes in the winter.
